1.Find the file you downloaded. The file name is BLS2026INSTALLER.EXE. It is usually in your Downloads folder.

2.Double-click BLS2026INSTALLER.EXE to start.

3.If your PC has more than one Windows user, make sure you are signed in with an account that has Administrator rights.

4.Windows may dim the screen and ask for permission to make changes. Click Yes.

5.If Windows asks for an Administrator name and password, enter the Windows Administrator login for this computer. This is not a BLS-2026 password.

6.Follow the steps in the installer. Click Next, read and accept the license, choose the install location (the default is fine), then click Install.

7.Wait for the install to finish. Click Finish when done.

8.If Windows asks you to restart, save your work and restart the computer.

9.Open BLS-2026 from the Start menu. Look under All apps if you don’t see it right away.

 

Tips
•If double-click does nothing, right-click BLS2026INSTALLER.EXE and choose Run as administrator.
• If you see a Windows SmartScreen warning, click More info, then Run anyway (only if you downloaded from www.cdesoftware.com or CDE Software).

 

Note: On some computers, a Windows prompt may appear during installation asking for the Administrator user name and password. This is not a user name or password that BLS-2026 has programmed in. It is the Windows Administrator user name and Password that was set up when the computer was set up.
