If you bought the manual and a USB flash drive, you can install BLS-2026 from the drive. Follow these steps.

1.Sign in to Windows with an account that has Administrator rights.

2.Plug in the USB flash drive.

oIf a menu opens, click Install a CDE Software Product, then click BLS-2026, then click Install BLS-2026 Professional/AutoScoring.

oIf nothing opens after 10–15 seconds, go to step 3.

3.Open the installer manually:

oPress Windows + E to open File Explorer.

oClick This PC, then double-click the USB drive.

oOpen the BLS-2026 folder.

oFind the file named BLS2026INSTALLER.EXE. Right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

4.If Windows dims the screen and asks for permission, click Yes. If it asks for an Administrator name and password, enter your Windows Admin login (this is not a BLS-2026 password).

5.Follow the on-screen steps:

oClick Next through the welcome screens.

oRead and accept the license.

oChoose the install folder (the default is fine).

oClick Install and wait for it to finish.

oClick Finish.

6.If Windows asks you to restart, save your work and restart.

7.When done, safely remove the USB drive:

oClick the Safely Remove Hardware icon by the clock.

oChoose Eject for your USB drive, then unplug it.

 

Tips

oIf you see a SmartScreen warning, click More info, then Run anyway if you got the drive from CDE Software.

oIf your PC doesn’t have enough USB ports, use a different port or remove other devices temporarily.

oIf you can’t find BLS2026INSTALLER.EXE, check for Setup.exe or StartHere.exe on the drive.
